Claire Luxton's bespoke sculpture for Ada Zanditon

Contemporary Collective's Claire Luxton continues to make an impression on the fashion world with her recent bespoke sculpture created especially for the unveiling of fashion designer Ada Zanditon's Couture collection at the Marconi Lounge on The Strand.

The steel triangle acted as centerpiece at the luxurious venue, where Zanditon's gold leather clad Baroque Warrior Goddesses mingled with London's upcoming fashion talent.

Luxton mimicks the intricately laser cut leather patterns of Ada's designs by filling the inside of the structure with similarly cut pages from the latest issue of Drama magazine, one of the main sponsors of the event. The beauty of this piece is in the way it effortlessly pulls together the key aspects of the two artists' practices, allowing them to contextualise one another, making it into a true creative collaboration.
